I AM…

…”Charlie Nitric,” a single father with 2 fantastic boys. I observe everything and experienced countless imaginable and unimaginable events in my life.

I’m blogging about these experiences in hopes that I can touch people in a way that makes you have a good belly laugh…grit your teeth in frustration…long in anticipation…cry tears of joy and sorrow…nod your head thinking “yes, I can relate to that”…and dream dreams of a brighter tomorrow.

My goal as a writer is to enlighten and entertain you, to inspire and to move you. If my words have merit in your heart, then you will “feel me.”

Strive each day towards your own joy. Be grateful for what you have, and not bitter for what you don’t have. Love, don’t hate. Truth, not lies. Fair, not scandalous. Smile often.

That be the game and be happy! :)

LOVE EM

      Good Morning Kitty -

Thank you! I think they’re pretty cool as well. Their mother is a pretty girl so that’s where they get their good looks and nice skin color. Thanks also for commenting. :)

I really like your blog and your writing style is great. You have two lovely boys, I’m sure they keep you going and give you some brightness in your life. You sound just like me, with the same purpose for being inspired to write. If we can make someone laugh, cry, or just bring a smile into their day, its worth our time.

    • #6 by charlie nitric on May 10, 2011 - 6:46 pm

      Hi Penny -

Thank you for reading me and for commenting. I receive lots of great comments; funny ones, serious issues, a comment about the their experience in a certain matter, or they really like the story. I love those and they all are wonderful. You know, thank you for something else which means so much. Not many people comment about my writing style. I never really know if about how my story reads. I’m always wondering if my work is quality writing or just a good read. Thank you for telling me you like my writing style and knowing that someone is moved in a way that makes them feel an emotion like laughing or crying, or feeling good from something I read does make it worth our while. Thank you. :)

Thanks for all the feedback Charlie! You’ve motivated me to try to post more often. I have so many stories I’m afraid no one will like hah, but I guess we all take chances. I plan to read a lot more of your work in the future. Your words are very engaging! Good luck with your writing.

    • #12 by charlie nitric on May 24, 2011 - 6:12 pm

      Hey Jenny -

You should write more. I love the Milo story and I’m not a cat lover. As I commented, you held me from beginning to end. Luna shaped up in the end and became a good momma, right? You must write if it’s in your heart. People will come and read you. You will see. Just write, review your work, and get better and write more. You can do it. Thank you for your kind words. Hope to read more from you soon. :)

I don’t know if you read this one, I’m sure you are busy, if you get a chance though.

    Ok … please explain … Charlie’s mom?

    • #18 by charlie nitric on July 6, 2011 - 10:43 pm

      Hi Christina -

I’m not sure what you want me to explain here. Charlie’s mom is the woman whom told him a bedtime story. She was sick during pregnancy with Charlie and so was he was also very ill. They both survived. Charlie lives strong and healthy today and his mother had a long, happy life with 40+ grand children. :)

I just noticed you on Twitter and I decided to check out your website. I am reviewing your notes about blogging first as I am newbie. I did start with Blogger but just created my WordPress account. I had noticed others mentioning that WordPress is better as well. I am looking forward to reviewing your site and possibly communicating with you.
